Winemaker Jeff Ames blends 98% Cabernet Sauvignon with 2% estate Cabernet Franc, then gives it 22 months in 85% new French oak from Taransaud and Darnajou. Only 320 cases made. The 2021 is the first vintage to include Clone 30 vines replanted after the 2017 fire, and the Wine Advocate scored it 93. Structured for 15 to 20 years in the cellar. Ready now with a few hours in a decanter.
