The family runs its cellar in Monforte and ages this about 24 months in French and Slavonian oak casks up to 60 hectoliters. It is the approachable bottle in their lineup, made to drink on release. James Suckling and Wine Enthusiast both landed at 93 points. Real value in the 60-dollar Barolo tier.
