Seven Napa wine industry friends from a tasting group led by winemaker Dan Petroski formed Band of Vintners in 2014 with one goal: a single Napa Cabernet with real value. They pooled fruit sources, called in favors, and Consortium is the result. The 2018 pours medium ruby and leads with blackcurrant, boysenberry, and dark cherry, framed by a light touch of French oak.
