Winemaker Notes
Deep red with purple highlights, the Altos del Plata Malbec opens with predominant aromas of black fruits — plum and wild berries — in harmony with toasted hints and spicy notes of white pepper. On the palate, it is fruity and fresh with a gentle structure and a slight toasted touch from barrel aging.
Grown at 3,500 feet above sea level in Mendoza, Terrazas de los Andes vineyards benefit from a unique high-altitude microclimate that yields an intense yet approachable Malbec — a true expression of Argentina’s most celebrated red grape.
